Halloween 08

All the boys made huge hauls, so I'm not sure if they've eaten a full meal since yesterday. My philosophy? Let 'em eat the candy and get it out of the house ASAP. Good luck tomorrow, Primary Teachers!

What's my philosophy on Trunk or Treats? I like to make my boys earn their candy the hard way. Heck if they're going to eat unusual amounts of sugar in an impossibly short period, I might as well make them get exercise while doing so, right?

Dad and Reese came over and I made navajo taco's and we also had doughnuts and root beer floats. We then watched Halloween H20 (edited version), which was hilarious. Whenever Michael Meyers came around, my dad's eye's were huge and it would be hard to get his attention. I wish I would have taken a picture.

Spencer trick-or-treated with about 4 other boys his age (poor Bro. McBRide who took them all around), and Boyd took Logan and Bry. Bry ended up ditching them when he found a group of girls from our ward and ended up finishing out the night with them.

It was a pretty quiet, but fun night. Now - I'm fully focused on Christmas - scary!

Love the boys costumes. Is this the first year one of your boys wasn't batman, spiderman, or buzz? I think it's a rule that every boy is batman or spiderman at least twice (each) in their childhood. Dang, I need a boy. I'm so sick of princess-ish costumes. It's so much harder to make them look decent. Boys costumes come "already cool." No fair.

I wouldn't know how to dress up a boy. I'm all about the princessish sparkly stuff. The more glitter, the better. If I had boys they would probably be dressed up like a politician, or a prophet... something nerdy for sure.
They look pretty sweet, I'm glad Logan found a belt.
P.S. I HATE trunk or treating.
